Our dermatological centre is the oldest institution in Germany providing with its structure, care of nearly 7,000 inpatient dermatological patients at present. The clinic treats patients with all stressful diseases of the skin and adjacent mucous membranes. One focal point is the oncological treatment of skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, cutaneous lymphoma). In this field, we have gained comprehensive experience in surgical removal according to the guidelines, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and the use of photodynamic therapy (PDT) We also use targeted laser therapy in case of early detected tumours.

We also emphasize therapy of leg ulcers of any origin and the different forms of dermal vasculitides. Regarding this point, we offer special consultation and sophisticated therapy offer.

We also concentrate on any type of allergenic or allergy-similar diseases (eczema, neurodermitits, skin diseases caused by the profession) psoriasis including therapy with state-of-the-art biological medicine. We regularly evaluate and treat bee allergy and wasp allergy as well as desensitisation treatment.
