Centre for Paediatric Medicine / Women´s Clinic Paediatrics 3 – Centre for Congenital Heart Defects Stuttgart, Paediatric Intensive Care, Pulmology ans Allergology

This clinic provides services involving diagnostics, therapy and long-term follow-up care for patients with congenital heart disorders – from neonates to adults (in cooperation with the cardiology department at the Katharinenhospital) in the Centre for Congenital Heart Defects (certified supraregional EMAH Centre). In this context, the entire spectrum of interventional cardiology and operative care is offered in co-operation with the cardiac surgery clinic (Sana Herzchirurgie Stuttgart - SHS). Additional areas of emphasis are long-term care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias and for children who have undergone a heart transplantation – along with the entire spectrum of paediatric intensive care – on the maximum care level.

In the discipline of pneumology, allergology and cystic fibrosis, our specially educated pneumologists provide examination and treatment of pulmonary diseases. We offer specialists in allergology for diseases of allergenic origin. In the context of paediatric respiratory diseases (PRD) we have established a close interdisciplinary cooperation. We are a certified Cystic Fibrosis Centre for children and adolescents.
